Ember & Ash is the first restaurant from Scott Calhoun, David Feola, and Gianna Spatoulas. After spending years in some of the best kitchens in both New York and Philadelphia, our team came together to bring a concept they all felt was missing from our city’s food scene.

Taking food back to its basics, and highlighting ingredients that are often overlooked, is the core concept behind our menu. We want to utilize the best local ingredients when they are at their peak, and highlight them in a way that shows versatility and sustainability. Using our custom-built hearth, we look forward to showcasing every part of what our ingredients, and our region has to offer.

Get Your Seat Reserved Anytime

Located on the bustling Passyunk Avenue in South Philly, Ember & Ash offers dinner 5 days a week, Wednesday to Sunday. Our restaurant features three different dining spaces; a vibrant bar and lounge with all unreserved seating, a cozy open kitchen dining room with views of our custom-built wood-burning grill, and a lively 2nd floor dining room overlooking the avenue. Reservations are recommended, though not required.
